Sparkles Forum Challenge #14 At The Beach

Morning all

Happy Fathers day to all fathers today xx

Where has our summer gone???? The weather here today is dull and dank... yuk!!

Challenge 14 at Sparkles Forum Challenges this fortnight is AT THE BEACH.

Below is my DT work for this challenge:

I Love this fab Zombie teen.... if you look carefully on her arm, stomach and leg she has bits missing. She image is from Simply Betty Stamps and she has some great images to choose from!

The glitter cardstock is from my stash, the ribbon from my local haberdashery and the card candi is from Crafty Emma's Store. The flower I tried to look like the sun.... not sure if I pulled that part off hehehe

Emo Girl

Hi All

Hope you are all well... weather here today is HORRIBLE!! wind / rain / cold = yuk!!

This was based around these loverly skull doilies I got from Crafty Emma's Store... aren't they fab?? I wanted to keep the background plain to bring out the skull...nesss... I Had a play with pattern papers and it didn't really work. 

The lovely girl is a digi from Di's Digi Downloads. I got the idea of her sitting on the bottom of the doilie from a card that the lovely Angel had previously made (hope you don't mind hun!)

The ribbon is from my stash, and the candi & ribbon slider is also from Crafty Emma's Store

Sorry about the dark picture... said weather means its quite dark here today!! Hope it brightens up soon!! She's is quite a bold card in life.

Cross Stitched notebook

Hi All. Would like to share with you a make I did to send to a good friend.

It is a handmade notebook with cross stitch pattern on the cover.

I started off with the border of the frame and the filling in the purple.

The stitching up close:

I then  glued it to some card, adding a border page, back card page and all the middle sheets. I then punched through the layers and added 3 hoops to keep it all together.

I will be honest, I struggled a bit with this card.... Couldn't quite get it how I wanted!.... and the picture is RUBBISH lol!! Couldn't get the flash right and its too dark to turn it off!

Anyhoo, at least I got an entry in LOL!

The image Vintage Ronnie. He is a cutie.  The papers and buttons are from Caroles Crafts in Bristol. I always find it harder to makes cards for men, can't fill space with glitter or flowers!
